Hey,
Awesome list you got here. There are some plugins I wanted to install but was too lazy to search
, but now you have listed them here.
Downloading some of these plugins as I type this..
Thanks.
The title should have been ‘…plugins for blog writers’. While writing a novel for instance, I prefer not to have my PC butting in with word suggestons. But having the thesaurus open at once, would be good. However, it IS wonderful for blog writers. I’ll be sure to have this application , once I get my new PC.
@Devakishor –
I am glad you liked the list! While you are at it, don’t forget to check the compatibility!
@Rosemary Ambale –
You are right but all the plugins mentioned above, have a significant value. I don’t preach without practising
I am currently using about 20-25 plugins from the list.
PS As for the title, I wanted it to be catchy! The title would have looked plain if I hadn’t included “must-have”
Thanks for having your say!

Hmmn, A Nice list of must-have plugins. Here is my fear..What are the consequences of installing a large number of WP plugins.
@Jessica,
If you have any problems, I would suggest that you try disabling the plugins one by one and then enabling them again! It worked for me when I upgraded to WP 2.8!
WP Data Backup plugin is a must-have for all! It creates backups of your core WordPress tables as well as other tables of your choice in the same database.
