Sorry about the comment disaggregation. I replied to your mail. Comment reproduced for the sake of continuity.
Forms. Hmmm..how would you describe me to someone? my physical identity? I don't think you've ever seen me. So all you think about is what I portray online. Even if you were describe me after meeting me, I'd be only an image of what I succeeded in portraying to you. Let's you find me in some charitable institution helping out people. Obviously, my psychological image would have an extended bearing as compared to my physical self.

@thunderror,

I guess you have misunderstood what I tried to convey when I said "forms". Say, there's this person "A" you know. When I ask you to describe him to me, what thoughts flash across your mind instantly? His appearance or his psychological profile? That's why people say images help us understand things better! Also, I didn't say romantic understanding is WRONG! That's the way humans are! Why, even I fall into the category! It would be hypocritical if I don't accede to it. :)

Oh yes, my mind was so jarred with thoughts that I wanted them out at any cost. I didn't proofread the article or even read it a second time. What you have been reading is a collection of unabridged thoughts! I didn't have a choice. I surrendered to my thoughts this time. Or I would rather say, to my intellect! ;)

Dear Rohit, please read the paragraph in which I have curbed classical understanding. I am not altogether against romantic understanding.

Thanks a bunch for stopping by to comment on the post! I really appreciate this gesture!

Thanks for featuring wuthering heights :) As far as the article goes, it is quite a nice article on the forms of understanding. But a couple of observations. One, the whole article is fine but it lacks a clear flow of thought, it is lost in the tumultude of your mind's thoughts, which for the reader would seem to be nothing but abrupt corners in article's line of thought. Secondly, you say that ". We associate human beings with their corresponding forms and the first thing that strikes a person when talking about another is his appearance" I would like you to additionally clarify that a form is not merely physical, but also includes the psychological profile of the person, or the profile that he attempts to portray.
I also do not subscribe to your criticism of the romantic thought. True, classical thought allows you see the world as it is. But bear in mind that in many cases imagination allows you see things much clearer than otherwise. It is perception, which is a critical factor of romantic understanding which fills you with the need to comprehend, seek knowledge, chase passions, achieve milestones and love people. I find that you tend to be averse towards romantic thought which is something I tend to favour, always.
I appreciate the hard work that has gone into your writing and the fact that you have put in your hard work for bringing into focus obscure ideas of everyday philosophy..Keep up the good work!
